Reflection of presentation on Motion Pictures:
I found the early inspiration discussion about motion picture origins extremely interesting. There was a fierce curiosity in the entertainment industry with capturing movement to share. At this point, the closest development was a child’s flip book.
In the late 1800’s camera development was on its way, with very, very slow rate capturing abilities. However, another interesting point I saw in this presentation discussed how to access these frames once they are captures. Many do not think about all the effort put forth for the projector to also be invented.
